UC SANTA BARBARA

2013-14: Placed 34th overall in the 100freestyle at Pac-12 Championships

2012-13: Placed 18th overall in the100 freestyle and 22nd overall in the 100 butterfly(50.94) at the Pac-12 Championships…Finished second in the50 freestyle (21.57) against rival Cal Poly on Nov.3…Finished third in the 100 freestyle (47.07) against UNLVon Jan. 19…Placed fourth in the 50 freestyle vs. Cal StateBakersfield on Dec. 15.

2011-12: Recorded a time of 52.12 in the100-yard butterfly and a time of 46.11 in the 100-yard freestyle atthe Pac-12 Championships…Swam in the 200-yard medley relay(1:34.22), the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:23.39) and the 400-yardfreestyle relay (3:03.05) at the Pac-12 Championships.

Christopher David Dotson was born on Oct. 23, 1992 in SanRamon, Calif.…Nicknamed “Dotty”…Ismajoring in economics with a minor in math...Aspires to become aprofessional athlete someday…Enjoys golf, long boarding,surfing, skim boarding and exercising in his free time…Isinvolved with the Student Athlete Academic Board (SAAB) atUCSB...Lists his top pre-race pump up song as "Intro" by thexx...Enjoys snacking on Power Bars before a meet...Began swimmingat age 7...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the brotherhoodand family...If he could add an event to each meet it would be a 25freestyle with a running dive...Becoming a part of UCSB swimming isthe proudest achievement of his swimming career.
