MPSF TEAM CHAMPION
MPSF CHAMPION – 400 IM (3:49.41)
MPSF FIRST TEAM – 200 IM (1:47.74) – 200 Backstroke (1:45.23)
MOST IMPROVED AWARD
SMOC Male High Point Award
Placed 20th at USA Swimming Summer Nationals in the 100 backstroke (55.22).

2016-17:
MPSF TEAM CHAMPION
MPSF FIRST TEAM – 400 IM – 100 Backstroke – 200 Backstroke

2015-16:
Suffered several injuries but was able to compete and place fifth in the 200 IM against USC.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from St. Francis High School…Swam under Coach Brady Lowdermilk…All-American honors in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke…Holds five school records…MVP of his team…Swam club with Rose Bowl Aquatics under Coach Jeff Julian…Team record holder in three events.

PERSONAL
Douglas, “Doug,” Nogueira was born May 25, 1997…Is a Sociology major at UCSB but aspires to someday work in sports photography…Lists his top pre-race pump up song as “Twenty Five" by hallucinate…Enjoys snacking on Powerbars before meets…When he’s out of the water he enjoys taking photos and spending time with friends…Began swimming at age 11…Favorite aspect of college swimming is the intense training and the brotherhood…If he could add an event to each meet it would be a 50 underwater kick…Being recruited by UCSB is the proudest achievement of his swimming career...Has the goal of qualifying and placing top 8 at NCAA’s and Nationals.
