UC SANTA BARBARA
2015-16:
Placed third in the 800 freestyle relay, fourth in the 200 freestyle relay, fourth in the 400 freestyle relay, seventh in the 100 freestyle, 13th in the 200 IM, and 12th in the 200 freestyle at the 2016 MPSF Conference Championships.


2014-15:
Placed seventh in the 200 freestyle (1:39.58), tenth in the 200 IM (1:51.22), and tenth in the 200 butterfly (1:49.79) at MPSF Championships...Swam season-best times in the 100 freestyle (45.77) in an MPSF Exhibition heat, as well as in the 100 butterfly (50.15) in an A3 Invitational Exhibition heat...Placed seventh in the 200 butterfly at A3 Performance Invitational.

MT. SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE
Swam under Coach Marc Ruh...Set 7 school records...Team placed 2nd at State Championships. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from South Hills High School...Swam under coach Rene Romero...Voted MVP his junior and senior years...Also swam club at Covina Aquatics Association under Coach Mike Gautreau...Placed in finals at Junior Nationals.

Edward, "Eddie," Sanchez was born December 21, 1994...Majoring in Statistical Sciences and aspires to become a financial manager...Enjoys playing basketball, body surfing, lifting weights, and watching TV in his free time...Lists his top pre-race pump up song as "Swagsville" by BadKlaat...Enjoys snacking on peanut butter and nutella sandwiches before a meet...Began swimming at age 15...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the team atmosphere and intense competition...If he could add an event to each meet it would be a 50 underwater...Competing on an A-relay at conference is the proudest achievement of his swimming career.
