MPSF ALL-ACADEMIC
Placed fourth in the 400 IM and fifth in the 200 IM at MPSF Championships. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Santa Cruz High School...Swam under Coach Jeff Wickum...Holds 4 school records in the 200 IM, 100 back, 100 breast, and 100 fly...Third place finish in the 200 IM and fourth place finish in the 100 back at CCS Championships...Also swam club for Cabrillo Thrashers under Coach Jim Triplett...All-American...Qualified and competed at Qinter Junior Nationals in 2013. 

PERSONAL
Gabriel "Gabe" Bolender was born August 3rd, 1995...Is a Pharmacology major with the hopes of becoming a pharmaceutical administrator someday...A unique fact about him is that he can eat 30 powdered donuts in under 2 minutes...In his free time he enjoys going to concerts...Lists his top pre-race pumpup song as "Squid Attack (Funtcase remix) by Genetix...Began swimming at age 6...If he could add an event to each meet it would be the 100 IM...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the hard work...Placing 4th in the 400 IM at 2016 MPSF Championships is the proudest achievement of his swimming career.
