Graduated from Monta Vista High School…Competed in Freestyle, Backstroke, and IM in high school…Swam for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics…Biggest accomplishments before college include being on the 3rd place team at CCS as a freshman and winning combined 1st place finishes at USA Swimming Summer Junior Nationals, as well as Speedo Winter Junior Nationals, with his club team.

Lucca Martins was born on October 25th, 1997…Is majoring in Economics…Played Tee-ball as a kid and then soccer growing up…Chose UCSB because the academic reputation and campus location are hard to beat, additionally the team makes him feel at home while also keeping his efforts in the pool honest and his goals in mind…Favorite pre-race pump up song is Killing in the Name of by Rage Against The Machine…Enjoys watching competitive videogame playing and streaming, as well as playing himself…Has the goals of winning MPSF Conference Titles both individually and as a team, as well as qualifying for NCAA’s.
