UC SANTA BARBARA
2015-16: Member of fourth place finish 4x50 freestyle relay, top 24 finishes in 50, 100, and 200 freestyles at MPSF Conference Championships.
2014-15: Recorded season-best times in the 50 freestyle (20.74), 100 freestyle (45.55), and 200 freestyle (1:41.49).
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Los Osos High School...Swam under Coach Casey Heinen...Earned All-American honors all 4 years...Scholar Athlete...Team Captain...Swam with the team that won CIF Division II twice...Also swam club with Rose Bowl Aquatics under Coach Jeff Julien...Swam and placed at Junior Nationals.
PERSONAL
Michael A. Forbes was born May 7, 1996...Is undeclared at UCSB but aspires to become CEO of a company someday...Lists "Till I Collapse" by Eminem as his top pre-race pump up song...Enjoys snacking on Limon Hot Cheetos before a meet...Began swimming at age 10...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the team unity...If he could add an event to each meet it would be the 25 Freestyle...Being selected to swim in Japan is the proudest achievement of his swimming career.
