2013-14: Placed first in the 400 yard freestyle relay and second in the 100 yard freestyle in Cal Poly and Hawaii Tri Meet…In the Texas Invitational Wade finished fourth in the 100 butterfly in 46.65, tying his personal and school record…Also qualified as tenth fastest in the country with the time 19.69 for the 50 freestyle and cracked the 100 freestyle school record with a 43.26 at the Texas Invitational…Placed first in the 200 yard medley relay against UOP…Won the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:40.91, and the 400 yard freestyle relay against Cal Poly…Finished first against Stanford in the 200 yard medley relay…Placed first in the 400 yard freestyle relay vs. Stanford…At Pac-12 Championships Wade finished fifth in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:27.81…Also at Pac-12, finished eighth in the 50 yard freestyle with a 19.45 school record, sixth in the 200 yard freestyle relay, and fourth in the 400 yard freestyle relay…Finished 31st in the 100 yard freestyle at NCAA
2012-13: Qualified for the NCAA Championships placing 33rd overall in the 100 fly and 39th overall in the 100 freestyle…Set the school record in the 100 fly (46.65)…Finished sixth overall in the 100 freestyle with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 43.35 at the Pac-12 Championships…Placed seventh overall in the 100 butterfly with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 46.69 at the Pac-12 Championships…Set another NCAA ‘B’ cut with his eighth place, 20.00 time posted in the 50 freestyle at the Pac-12 Championships… Part of the 400 medley relay team that broke the school record (3:13.11)… Placed first in the 100 butterfly in the season opener vs. Utah on Oct. 12…Took first in the 50 freestyle in a big dual meet against rival Cal Poly on Feb. 9.
2012 MID-MAJOR ALL-AMERICAN HONORABLE MENTION
2011-12: Placed ninth in the 100-yard butterfly (47.34), 18th in the 100-yard freestyle (22.55), 18th in the 50-yard freestyle (20.15), seventh in the 200-yard medley relay (1:30.06), fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay (2:53.48) and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:18.54) at the Pac-12 Championships…Swam season bests in each individual event at the Pac-12’s…Ranked first in school history along with Chris Peterson, Garrett Thompson, and Kevin Ferguson in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:17.87.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Davis Senior High School…Was coached by Tracy Stapleton…Was a 10-time NISCA High School All-American, earning honors in five events in 2009, two events in 2010 and three events in 2011…Also competed for the Blue Devil’s water polo team…Swam club for the Davis Aquadarts under coach Stu Kahn and for the Davis Aquamonsters under coach Peter Motekaitis…Was an AP Scholar Award recipient.

Wade Samuel Allen was born on Aug. 25, 1993 in Sacramento, Calif...Is a Math and Psychology major and has aspirations of becoming an expert on Postive Psychology or a TED Talk speaker…Enjoys skim boarding, surfing, playing the guitar, video games and hanging out with friends…Lists his top pre-race pump up song a "Daybreak" by Overwerk...Enjoys snacking on Chocolate Chip Cliff Bars before a meet...Began swimming at age 4...If he could add an event to each meet it would be the 100 IM...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the team unity....Tying his oldest brother's best time is the proudest achievement of his swimming career.
