CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL 
Williams played tennis at Rye Neck High School, Section 1 in Rye, N.Y...In 16s, reached top 10 in the Eastern Section and No. 59 in the nation...In 18s, reached top 10 in the section with a highest ranking of No. 88 nationally... Won the National L3 tournament singles (18s and 16s)...Was also a National doubles finalist in 18s L2 (two times) and L3 (once)...Also achieved a sixth-place finish in National L2 18s singles...Reached 74 on Tennis recruiting, and had an 11.9 Universal Tennis Rating...Reached number one on hot 100 for tennis recruiting in August '17...Josh also trained at the Cory Leeds Tennis Center and the Johnny Gularte Tennis Academy...Williams' was coached personally by Gularte (2011-2018) and Harel Srugo (2018 - present).

Joshua Williams was born April 20, 2001 in London, England...Parents are Wendy and Nick Williams...Grew up in Rye, N.Y., where he began competing in tennis and soccer...Plans to major in Communication at UCSB and wants to enter the real estate business...Josh's favorite sports teams are the Brooklyn Nets, Arizona Cardinals, New York Mets, the Phoenix Suns and Arsenal...Most memorable sports moment was when the Cardinals reached the Super Bowl...Roots for Andy Murray, Deangelo Russel, and Odell Beckham Jr....Enjoys listening to music or playing soccer and basketball as side hobbies...Loves the Dark Knight, Dumb and Dumber, and Beautiful Boy films...Faorite novels are Glass Castle  and The Great Gatsby, and Josh's favorite authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Mike Lupica.
