Mallory Hromatko played in and started 17 of the team's 19 matches...Did not score a goal during her junior season, but she did contribute a trio of assists...Her assists came at UCLA, vs. Pacific and at UC Davis...Played 1,338 minutes, second most among returnees...Missed the season's final two matches with a sprained ankle.
2016
Hromatko was selected Honorable Mention All-Big West folowing her sophomore season...Had four goals and two assists for 10 points...Played in 18 contests and made 17 starts...Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over St. Francis (Pa.)...Had a goal an an assist in a 4-0 win over Pittsburgh...Scored her final goal of the season in a 3-2 victory at Pacific...Did not score a goal in her last nine matches...Totaled 32 shots, including a season-high six in a 1-1 tie with Cal Poly.
2015
Hromatko started in all 20 games that she played her freshman season at UCSB...She was named Big West Freshman of the Year, as well as First Team All-Big West and Second Team All-West Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America..With a total of 9 goals, 6 assists, and 24 points all which rank third in the league..She is the highest scoring Gaucho freshman since 2001.. Five winning goals against Irvine, Davis, Pacific, Duquesne, and Hawaii...Assisted both goals in a win over Texas and in the winning goal against Cal State Fullerton.. Tallied a total of 43 shots taken during the season.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Hromatko competed for the Mustang Mavericks from 2005-15…Team captain for three years…National Training Center from 2011-13…Attended Monte Vista HS… Helped Monte Vista to North Coast Section championship in 2012 and 2014 as well as the finals in 2013…Played in 89 games during her career, scoring 38 goals and assisting on 27 others…As a senior in 2014-15, she scored 13 goals and had three assists as she helped her team to a 23-1 record and a spot in the NCS championship game...In both her junior and senior seasons she was named East Bay Athletic League and CIF North Coast Section Player of the Year…Also named Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area Player of the Year…Was also selected EBAL co-MVP as a freshman in 2011-12 and MVP as a sophomore in 2012-13…A four-time First Team All-EBAL and North Coast Section selection...Before her team lost in the NCS title game in 2015, it had gone undefeated in 49 straight...Played for Brett LeQuesne.
