Goodheart broke onto the conference scene as a junior,taking the 5th spot at the Big West Championships in the 3,000msteeple- one of four returning scorers for the Gauchos in theevent. Look for that momentum to continue into his seniorcampaign. 

2012-2013
Clipped a 9:17.33 in the 3,000m steeple to take second atthe Big West Challenge. Got on a roll late in the season- running a1500m PR at the Cal Poly Dual meet and using that momentum to notchhis first Big West scoring performance, taking 5th in the 3,000msteeplechase. 

2011-2012
Competed in the 1,500m and 3,000m Steeple throughout the season.Posted a
season best of 4:08.72 in the 1,500m at Bryan Clay Invitational.Ran a best time in
the 3,000m Steeple at Cal Poly where he placed fourth

2010-2011
Ran a personal best in the 1,500m at the Ben Brown Invite with atime of 4:05.90 and improving his previous high school best by morethan 20 seconds...Ran 8:54.50 in the 3k at the WestmontQuadrangular meet...Also competed in the 800m where he ran 1:54.46and placing seventh.

Austin Goodheart attended Glendora High School...Goodheartfinished 32nd in the three-mile CIF Southern Section DivisionalFinals meet with a time of 15:53.00...He set a personal best in theCIF Southern Section Prelims with a time of 15:44.00 good forsixth-place...Placed 65th at the CIF California State Championshipmeet with a peraonal best of 16:17.00 in the 5,000 metercourse...Goodheart also competed in track at Glendora HS andrecorded personal bests of 4:27.43 in the 1,600 meters and 1:55.56in the 800 meters.
