2022 Big West Conference All-Academic Team

2022 Track & Field

• Ran in nine meets, ending the year competing in four separate events at the Big West Championships
• At the conference championships, took 4th in the 4x100 (41.36), 5th in the 4x400 (3:15.38), 8th in the 400m (48.70) and 18th in the 200m prelims (22.57, 0.5)
• Took 1st in the 400m at both the UCSB Invitational (48.65) and while setting a new PR at the Challenge Cup (47.87)
• Ran in the 100m (10.97) for the first time in his collegiate career at the Vince O'Boyle Classic, taking 3rd-place
• Finished 2nd in the 4x400 at both the Challenge Cup (3:14.72) and Steve Scott Invitational (3:16.04)
• Also took 2nd in the 4x100 (41.17) at the Challenge Cup
• His all-time best 200m time was set at the Steve Scott Invitational (21.97, 1.8)

2021 Track & Field

• Competed in seven meets on the track, culminating in the Big West Championships where he ran in three different events and claimed a pair of 5th-place finishes in the 4x100 (41.82) and 4x400 (3:14.89)
• Also ran in the 400m at the championships, finishing 14th in the preliminaries with a 50.78 mark
• Finished 1st at the Spring Break Invitational in the 4x100 (41.68) and 4x400 (3:16.68)
• Claimed 2nd at a handful of meets: in the 400m (49.40) at the Spring Break Invitational, the 400m (48.84) at the Westmont Classic, the 4x400 (3:18.94) at the Cal Poly 4-Way, at the Fullerton Spring Invite in the 4x100 (41.67) and 4x400 (3:17.23), and at the Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet in the 200m (22.36w, 3.6) and 4x100 (42.25)

• Graduate of Maranatha High School where he was a CIF Southern Section Division 4 Champion in the 400m and a runner up in the 200m
• He was awarded Team MVP and League MVP for his accomplishments on the track
