2018-2019 Track and Field 

Competed in six meets for his second season of track. Set a season's best height of 4.80m (15' 9") at the Cal Poly Dual taking second overall. Finished tenth at the Big West Conference Championships with a height of 4.66m (15' 3.5"). 

2017-2018 Track and Field 

Competed in three meets for his first season as a Gaucho. Set a season's best height of 4.55m (14' 11") at the Westmont/Pepperdine Tri Meet.

Prep/Previous College 

Graduate of Santa Ynez Valley Union High School where he was a two time CIF Division 4 Finals qualifer in the pole vault with a best of 4.26m (14' 0"). Went to UC Santa Cruz for a year where he did not participate in track and then transferred to Santa Barbara City College where he took up the sport once again. At City College, he would end up breaking the school record in the pole vault with a height of 4.82m (15' 10"). Coached by Bill Whitaker. 

Personal

Parents are Peter and Jutta Aichinger...Majoring in Biology...Career goals are to eventually attend graduate or medical school...Athletic goals are to break the UCSB school record in the pole vault...Hobbies include snowboarding, spearfishing, and travelling...Fun fact: has dual citizenship with the United States and Germany.
