Biography
2016-2017
Competed in nine meets for his first season as a Gaucho. Opened up at the All-UC Challenge with a throw of 181' 5" to take fourth overall. Set a new personal best at the Big West Challenge to take 3rd with a mark of 195' 9". Had an incredible set of throws at the Big West Conference Championships, each attempt after his second throw going farther than the last, with the final throw culminating at 202' 2" for second place, his first time over 200 feet. Ross would close out the season at the NCAA West Regional Meet with a 195' 8" performance.
Prep/Junior College
Graduated from Steele Canyon High School & San Diego Mesa College. At San Diego Mesa, was the Pacific Coast Conference Champion, SoCal Conference Champion, and placed second at the California State Meet. Owns a Javelin PR of 57.32m.

Parents are Steve and Laurie Ross...Younger brother Mikey Ross...Major is Sociology...Goal is to own a software company...Hobbies: Autocross and Track days, surfing and being near the ocean...Fun fact: Taught himself how to backflip in 3 minutes.
