Prep
 Cook comes to UCSB via San Benito HS where he excelled inthe jumping events for the Haybalers. Twice he qualified for theCIF State Championships in the long jump after placing second andsixth in the CCS Championships as a senior and junior. He won 29individual event titles during his junior and senior seasons in thejumps, sprints and relays, showing his versatility and skill. Herecorded 11 competitions over 22 feet in the long jump, highlightedby a 22'10 personal best. In the high jump, Cook brings in a bestleap of 6'4. Look for him to develop his jumps while also tryinghis hand at a variety of explosive events for theGauchos.
