Biography
2018-2019 Track and Field
Competed in six meets for his second season of track and field. Set a personal best in the hammer Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet finishing third with a mark of 44.80m (147" 0").
2017-2018 Track and Field
Competed in six meets for his first season in uniform. Threw a season's best in the hammer at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a mark of 44.25m (145' 2"). Took fifth at the Cal Poly Dual in the hammer where he was fifth in 43.34m (142' 2").
Prep
Graduate of Warren High School. Placed third at the Arcadia Winter Indoor Championships. Also placed eighth at the California High Hammer Championships as a senior where he threw 153' 10". In addition, Tellez competed at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships where he finished 20th in the hammer. Coached by Ramon Miranda, Daniel Singh and Richard Sitan.

Parents are Martin and Melissa Tellez...Majoring in Economics...Career goals are to become a real estate investor...Athletic goals are to best his high school marks and hit 170 feet in the hammer throw...hobbies include playing Super Smash Bros, ping pong, and tennis...Fun Fact: has three brothers (Anthony, Eric, and Julian) and two sisters (Jessika and Alina).
