Had five appearances in the 400m hurdles during hisfreshman campign. Placed fourth, in a scoring position for theGauchos at the Cal Poly Dual meet. Seasons best time of 58.42 inthe 400m hurdles came at the Brian Clay Invite at AzusaPacific. 

Prep
Attended San Marcos High School where he competed in thehurdcles and 400m. Was the 2012 Channel League Champion in the 300mhurdles in 39.85. Also took third in the 110H at the Channel LeagueChampionships. Was awarded Santa Barbara County Track and FieldAthlete of The Year Award.

Parents are Karen and Pete McBride...Has one brother,Willie...Majoring in Chemical Engineering...Is a Regents ScholarAward recipient...Enjoys playing the guitar, sailing anddrawing.
