Garcia, a talented 400m hurdler who fought his way intothe 2013 Big West Championship 400m hurdle final looks to improveon his 6th place conference showing this outdoorseason.

2013-2014 Track 
Garcia ran in ten races for the Gauchos in his juniorseason.  Ran a seasons best time in the 400m hurdles, 54.27,at the Big West Championships to take ninth overall. Placed secondat the Cal Poly Dual meet in the 400m hurdles with a 54.79 effort.Helped the Gauchos to a third place 4 x 400m relay showing at theCal-Nevada Championships, clipping 3:15.23. 

2012-2013
Competed primarily in the 400mH, winninghis first collegiate competition at the Westmont CollegiateInvitational. Set his PR at the Big West Championships with a 54.02clocking, earning him a spot in the 400mH final where he went on torecord a 6th place finish.

2011-2012
Garcia competed in 7 meets where he ran the 400m Hurdles.He posted his
Collegiate best time of 55.27 at Cal Poly where he placedfourth.

Garcia captained the track team his senior year...LeagueChampion in the 300m hurdles his senior year...Named Most ValuablePlayer on the Mission Viejo High School track team his senioryear...Named Most Outstanding Jumper his junior year.
