2019 Cross Country
Competed in six meets for his second season of cross. Finished sixth overall at the UCSB Lagoon Meet in 25:46.3 as the Gauchos' third scorer. Set a personal best 8k time of 25:02.0 at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational. Finished 41st at the Big West Conference Championships in 26:21.9. Concluded the season at the NCAA West Regional Championship in 184th with a 10k time of 34:20.3.
2018-2019 Track and Field
Competed in eight meets for his first track season. Made his debut in the steeplechase at the Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet where he finished second in 9:31.93. Won the steeplechase at the Cal Poly Shareslo.com Invite in a time of 9:34.28. Set a personal best at 5000m at the UCLA Legends Invite clocking 14:51.14. Took fourth at the Big West Challenge in the steeplechase, dropping over 15 seconds off his personal best with a time of 9:16.68. Closed out his season at the Big West Conference Championships where he finished fourth in the steeplechase in 9:17.68, his first time scoring at a conference meet.
2018 Cross Country
Competed in five meets for her first season as a Gaucho. Was the No. 5 scorer at the Mark Covert Invitational where he placed 35th in 25:44.4. Finished as the No. 3 scorer at the UCSB Lagoon Meet in 25:38.5. Set a personal best for 8k at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational in a time of 25:05.3.
Prep
Graduated from Dana Hills High School where he was part of four CIF Division 1 State Meet appearances for cross country, finishing within the top three as a team each year from 2014-2017. Individually, he finished as high as ninth in the state his senior year for Division 1. He was also an individual state meet qualifier in track his sophomore year in the 3200m. Coached by Craig Dunn, Jim Copp, and Tim Butler.
Personal
Parents are Kris and Jeff Landgraf...Majoring in Marine Ecology...career goal is to be a fire fighter...athletic goals are to complete all four years of cross country and track...hobbies include surfing, snowboarding, and ultimate frisbee...fun fact: proclaims that a cow-bison hybrid is called a, "beefalo."
