Set a season's best time of 26:46.4 at the Masters University Invitational. 2018-2019 Track and Field Redshirt season. 2018 Cross Country Ran five meets for his third year of cross. Set a season's best time of 25:18.9 at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational. Placed 39th at the Big West Conference Championships in 26:10.8. 2017-2018 Track and Field Took to the track seven times for his second track season. Set a personal best time of 14:58.82 for 5000m at the Jim Bush Invitational. Took third at the Big West Challenge in the steeplechase with a personal best clocking of 9:35.27. Closed out the season at the Big West Conference Championships with an eighth place finish in the steeplechase, scoring for the first time in his Gaucho career. 2017 Cross Country Competed in five races for his second cross country season. Opened up with a 27:13.9 for 29th at the UCSB Lagoon Meet. Ran 26:09.0 two weeks later at the UC Riverside Invitational to finish 74th overall. Concluded his season with a breakout 8k performance at the Titan Invitational, dipping under 25 minutes for the first time to take 10th overall in 24:58.1. 2016-2017 Track and Field Competed in six competitions for his first season in uniform. Set a personal best in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Cal Poly Dual Meet, taking sixth in 9:46.51. 2016 Cross Country Competed in two races for the Gauchos. Debuted at the Lagoon Invite with a 26:18.7. 2015-2016 Track and Field Redshirt season. 2015 Cross Country Redshirt season. Prep Rose starred in the distance events for the Aptos HS Mariners...As a senior, Rose won the 1,600m at the SCCAL Finals, crossing the line in 4:22.24. He had multiple dual meet wins in the 1,600m during his junior and senior seasons. Won the SCCAL meet as a freshman, junior and senior. Prep coach was Dan Gruber.
