2016-2017
Competed in nine meets for his first season at UCSB. Won the long jump at the Gaucho Round-Up with a mark of 23' 3/4". Took both the long and high jump at the All-UC Challenge with marks of 23' 2 1/2" and 6' 4' 3/4". Won the decathlon at the Northridge Multi's, setting a new personal best with a score of 6616 points. Bested that score at the Big West Conference Championships to take sixth overall with 6630 points. Also contributed to both relays, scoring sixth in the 4x100m and eighth in the 4x400m.

Graduated from Granite Bay High School. Junior Transfer from American River College. Qualified for SJS Masters in high jump. California Community College state qualifier in the decathlon in 2014 & 2015. Coming in with a Dec PR of 6453. Coached by George Patterson and Mike Reed

Son of Lubert and Jenny Lam...Has 3 brothers (Brian, Greg and Scott)...Majoring in Microbiology. Aspires to be an Orthopedic surgeon...Hobbies include trying new foods, singing in the car, and being outdoors...Fun Fact: Played the tuba in high school.
