- At Loyola, he was a three time New Balance Nationals All-American, twice in the 4x800m, and once in the DMR
- He was also part of two Arcadia Invitational victories in the DMR and the 4x800m, as well as one Mt. SAC Invitational win in the 4x800m
- Coached by Lalo Diaz and Brian Duff
