Michael Aiken will add depth to the Gaucho relay squadsas well as the short sprints. Look for him to break out in the 200min 2014.

2012-2013
Carried the baton on four winning 4 x 100m teams over thespan of the Gaucho Round-Up, All-Cal Challenge Cup, UC RiversideDual Meet and the Cal Nevada Championships. Established a lifetimebest in the 100m with a 10.97 to take 5th place at the ChallengeCup. Also took third in the 200m at the Challenge Cup, sparking theGaucho men to a meet victory.

2011-2012
In his first year, Aiken placed 15th in the 200m and 6thin the 4x100m relay. Aiken also competed in 100m and 400mthroughout the season. Ran 21.89 at the Cal-Nevada Championships toset a new PR. He posted a best time in the 100m at the All-CalChallenge where he ran 11.12 and placed 4th. Perhaps his finestfreshman year moment came when he broke a close dual meet againstCal Poly wide open with a wind-aided 200m victory of 21.98.

Prep
Aiken was the Sierra League Champion in the 4x100m relay,200m and 4x400m relay...finished second in the 100m during hissenior year...Broke school record in the sprint medley relay aswell as set the fastest all-time record in the 200m...Anchored the4x200m relay team that set the second fastest all-time record inschool history...Placed seventh in the 100m and third place in the200m in the San Gabriel Valley...Member of the San Gabriel Valleyrelay team during his senior year.
