2022 Big West Conference All-Academic Team

2022 Track & Field: Finished fourth in the long jump with an attempt of 22’3.5” and as part of the 4x400 relay at the UCSB Invite(Mar. 11)... finished in tenth in long jump with a mark of 20’10” at the Vince O’Boyle Classic(Apr. 1-2)... saw another tenth place finish at the Challenge Cup(Apr. 8) with an attempt of 21’8.75”

2021 Track & Field: Competed at seven meets in the long jump, ending his year strong with a new PR 6.85m at the Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet and a 6.66m for 19th-place while competing in his first Big West Championships... Finished top-three in the long jump at three different meets.. Also ran in the 200m at the Tri-Meet, finishing 15th with a 23.95w (2.6) time

2020 Track & Field: Competed at the Gaucho Round-Up, taking second in the 4x400 (3:26.26) before season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic

2019 Track & Field: Competed in five meets for his first season as a Gaucho.. Set a season's best mark of 6.54m (21' 5.5") in the long jump at the Big West Challenge finishing seventh overall

• Graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory where he was a two time qualifier for the CIF State Meet in the long jump his junior and senior year
• He was also the varsity team captain at Bellarmine for the track and field jumps team

• Parents are Mark and Lisa Hanson
• Majoring in Physics
• Career Goals include involvement in the aerospace industry, with a long term career interest in becoming an astronaut and a participant in human space exploration
• Athletic Goals are to score at the Big West Conference Championship, qualify for the NCAA West Regional Championships in the long jump, and land a mark past 7.62 meters (25' 0") in the long jump
• Hobbies include wood work, metal working/welding, 3D design/CAD, graphic design, amateur rocketry, fine arts (sketching, painting, 3D modeling), astronomy, performing jazz piano, and automotive mechanics
