2018-2019 Track and Field
Competed in nine meets for his third season of track and field. Matched his 100m personal best with a wind-aided 10.87 (+2.6 m/s) clocking at the Gaucho Round-Up. Took second in the 100m at the Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet with a time of 10.96. Set a collegiate best time of 22.27 for 200m at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational. Ran an all-conditions best in the 200m at the Big West Challenge with a 22.17 (+2.6 m/s). Helped the 4x100m relay team win at the Cal Poly Dual with a 41.95 clocking. Concluded his season at the Big West Conference Championships where he ran a collegiate best in the 100m prelims with a time of 10.88 and helped the 4x100m relay team placed sixth overall in 41.96.
2017-2018 Track and Field
Competed in eight meets for his second season. Was part of five first place 4x100m relay finishes throughout the season including the Big West Challenge Cup and the Cal Poly Dual Meet. Clocked a 10.95 season's best in the 100m at the Cal Poly Dual Meet to finish fifth. Concluded his season at the Big West Conference Championships with the 4x100m relay where they finished eighth in 41.86.
2016-2017 Track and Field
Competed seven times for his first season in uniform. Ran his seasonal bests in both the 100m and 200m at the Big West Challenge, covering the distances in 11.05 and 22.49 respectively. Helped the 4x100m relay squad take a win at the Cal Poly Dual Meet in a surprising time of 41.04, just off the school record by a tenth of a second. Closed things out with a contributing 6th place finish in the 4x100m relay at the Big West Conference Championships with a 41.52 performance.
Prep
Graduated from Poway High School where he was a State Meet finalist in the 4x100m relay as a sophomore, taking sixth place in the final with his team in a time of 41.73. He was also a two time CIF San Diego Section Finalist in the 100m, and as a senior qualified for the state meet after finishing second in the San Diego Section Finals with a 10.79w clocking. He would end up finishing in 11th during the qualifying rounds of the state meet with a new personal best of 10.87. Coached by Felton Turnage.
Personal
Parents are Jeff Morgan and Mary Morgan...Majoring in Film and Media Studies..Goals are to break school 100m and 200m records and qualify for the NCAA West Regional Meet...Hobbies include script writing, poetry, and stories, basketball, skateboarding, and hiking.
