2018-2019 Track and Field
Competed in ten meets for his second season as a Gaucho. Set a personal best in the long jump at 7.07m (23' 2.5") at the Beach Opener. Boosted his decathlon total by a huge margin at the Westmont Collegiate Classic with a score of 6899 points, setting personal bests in six out of ten events during the meet and catapulting him from tenth to fourth on the UCSB All-Time List for the decathlon. Bested that score less than a month later at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a score of 7093 points, maintaining fourth on the All-Time List and setting personal bests in five out of ten events. Took first in both the long jump and the 4x400m relay at the Cal Poly Dual with marks of 6.74m (22' 1.5") and 3:16.57 respectively. Finished fifth on his home track at the Big West Conference Multi Championships with a fifth place finish in a stacked decathlon, scoring 6916 points for the second best total of his career. Concluded his season at the Big West Conference Championships by helping both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams to finish sixth and fifth respectively with times of 41.96 and 3:13.13.
2017-2018 Track and Field
Competed in nine meets for his freshman year campaign. Started his contribution early with a win in the 4x400m relay at the Westmont/Pepperdine Tri Meet in 3:18.54. Also helped the 4x100m relay squad at the UC Riverside/Cal-Poly Tri Meet as well as the Big West Challenge to win both. Debuted in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational to take fourth overall in a personal best of 6335 points. Took down that score less than three weeks later at the Big West Multi Championship where he'd score for the first time as a Gaucho in seventh place with 6528 points, good enough for No. 10 on the UCSB All-Time List for the decathlon. Finished off the season at the Big West Conference Track and Field Championships where he helped the 4x100m relay place eighth in 41.86 and the 4x400m relay place second in 3:12.20, the first time a Gaucho 4x400m squad has placed on the podium since 2013.
Prep
Attended Valencia High School where he qualified for CIF Division 1 Finals his senior year in both the 400m and the long jump. Broke the Foothill League 400m record at his League Finals Meet with a time of 48.08.
