Competed in nine meets for his first season as a Gaucho. Set a personal best in the javelin at the Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet, taking second with a mark of 56.21m (184' 5"). Also set a personal best score in the decathlon at the Westmont Collegiate Classic with a score of 6087 points. Hit a personal best in 110m hurdles at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational with a time of 16.79. Finished his season at the Big West Multi Championships where he finished 13th with a personal best score of 6331 points.
