Emiko Groth played her club soccer for Mustang Fury Soccer Club in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) under coach Mike Kelley...There, she played as a defensive midfielder and center back...She was part of the Player Development Program (PDP) team from 2013-17...The 5' 1" midfielder also played for San Ramon Valley High School (SRVHS) in the East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) of the CIF North Coast Section (NCS) under coach Mark Jones...She played both as a midfielder and center back and she started every game for SRVHS...Groth earned All-League Honorable Mention honors and was part of the SRVHS team that won the NCS title in 2016...She served as captain for both teams she played for, first for Mustang Fury in 2013-16 and 2018-19, and for SRVHS in the 2018-19 season.
