Honorable Mention All-Big West
Made 41 appearances with 28 starts as a senior…Finished with a 10-14 record, pacing the Gauchos in wins…Also topped UCSB’s pitchers with two saves and 13 complete games, the latter ranking sixth in the Big West…Owned the third-highest strikeout total in the league with 157…Averaged 6.16 punch outs per game (sixth in the league)…Recorded at least five strikeouts in 13 games overall, including in five consecutive appearances…Threw a no-hitter against Georgia Tech (2/27/16) when she faced only 23 batters with just two reaching base both on walks…Tossed 178.1 innings, by far the most on the team…Allowed 197 hits, 110 runs , 73 earned runs, 82 walks, and 14 home runs.
2015
During her junior year, Ludlow started 22 games of her 43 appearances, an increase from her previous seasons… she struck out 69 batters with average of 3.1 strikeouts per game… She ended the season with two saves and a 5.31 ERA… She led the Gauchos with 155.2 innings pitched… One of her best starts came in a complete game effort at Hawai'i when she limited the Rainbow Wahine to one run in a 6-1 rubber match victory for the Gauchos.
2014
In her sophomore season, Ludlow made six appearances in the circle including one start…Through her 10.2 innings pitched, Ludlow recorded seven strike outs and allowed 12 hits…She finished the year averaging 4.59 punch outs per game and a 3.94 ERA.
2013
Pitched in four games and started one during her freshman season…Allowed just 3 hits while striking out 2 batters…Recorded her first career win on March 7th against Weber State.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Casa Grande High School…Was a pitcher for the Gauchos in the Sonoma County League where she earned 176 strikeouts and a .66 ERA…Coached by Louie Bruce…Garnered first team All-League, Team MVP, and Coaches’ Award honors…Was twice named Player of the Week…Also competed in volleyball and basketball…Graduated in 2012.

Ashley Ludlow was born on January 10, 1994 in Santa Rosa, Calif.…Parents are Chuck and Astrid Ludlow…Grew up in Petaluma, Calif....Has one younger sister, Courtney…Names favorite movie to be “The Little Rascals”…Enjoys reading “The Hunger Games”…Majoring in sociology with a minor in education, and is also earning a certificate in sports management…Her career goal is to become an elementary school teacher.
