First Team All-Big West
Played in 53 games as a junior…Earned her second career first team all-conference selection after leading the team and ranking third in the Big West with both a .403 batting average and 72 hits…Those two marks also rank third in the UCSB record book in their respective single season categories…Her 41 runs were the third-most in a single season by a Gaucho and also ranked fifth in the Big West…Her .457 on-base percentage was fourth in the league, while her 17 stolen bases were the eighth most…Second on the team with 80 total bases…Her numbers this year helped bolster her career stats and even push them among the top marks in UCSB history…She moved past 11 players this season to place herself second in career hits with 231, just 27 shy of Christine Ramos’s program record…She also has a career total of 105 runs (seventh in Gaucho lore)…The slapper finished the year with four extra base hits, including two home runs, one of which was her second career inside-the-park homer…Slugged for .447 and finished with 17 RBIs…Drew 16 walks.
2015
Second Team All-Big West
Clark appeared in 54 games and finished second on the team with 31 runs… She led the Gauchos with 69 hits (third-most in Gaucho history), while her .356 batting average ranked second on the team and 10th in the program's history book… During her sophomore year, Clark accumulated five doubles… She finished with the team's highest stolen bases of total with nine… Clark stepped up her game during conference play, as she improved her batting average to .382 (sixth in the league) and tallied 29 hits (third in the league)… Clark was named Second Team All-Big West.

Kristen Clark put together one of the best freshman campaigns in program history in setting the single season school records in hits (90) and batting average (.437)…Her impressive season at the plate earned her numerous postseason accolades in being named the Big West Freshman of the Year, First Team All-Big West, and Honorable Mention All-Pacific Region…Clark finished the season with 25 stolen bases (sixth in program lore), four triples, a .435 on-base percentage and a .505 slugging percentage, which were all team-highs…Clark was named the Big West Player of the Week when she finished the Louisville Slugger Invitational with a .818 batting average…In that tournament, she collected nine hits from 11 at bats and also picked up three stolen bases…She opened the weekend with a perfect 4-for-4 performance against Nevada.
High School
A graduate of Monte Vista High School, Kristen played her freshman softball at The Woodlands High in Woodlands, Texas…She earned varsity letters in all three years at Monte Vista with coach Richard Jorgenson…She was selected to both the All-Easy Bay Athletic League (EBAL) and the All-East Bay First Teams after finishing her senior season with a .438 batting average…She led the Mustangs to North Coast Sectionals every year she was there… As a junior, she was an EBAL first teamer and was selected to the All-East Bay Second Team…She was named to the EBAL Second Team as a sophomore…Kristen eased into her high school playing career as she finished her first season with a .407 batting average and 28 stolen bases…After her lone season with the Highlanders, she led the team to a District 14-5A title and was named the district’s Freshman of the Year, while also earned a spot in the district’s all-first team and all-academic team…She was an honor roll student all four years and was a member of the National Honors Society, the California Scholarship Federation, and the French Honors Society.
