- Went 2-for-4 against No. 25 UCLA(Mar. 29) with two doubles and a run
- In the bottom of the tenth with the score tied, Johnson slapped a walk-off two-run single to give the Gauchos the win over Dixie State(May 14) 7-6 and take the series
- Against CSU Bakersfield (May 27), Johnson had three hits with a double, a walk, and three runs
- Homered twice at the Stanford Regional, once against Binghamton(Jun. 4) and the second against No. 2 Stanford(Jun. 5) both of which resulted in two RBI

- Kyle Johnson appeared in 51 games during the 2021 season

- Finished with 21 hits in 85 at bats to include four doubles and two home runs with 13 RBIs and a stolen base
- In a series against UCLA, Johnson hit a pair of home runs in back-to-back games
- Went 2-for-5 with one double and four RBIs in an 11-5 win over CSU Bakersfield (May 30)
2020
• Kyle Johnson started and played in all 15 games for the Gauchos in 2020.
• His slash line was .208/.333/.396.
• Tied for second on the team with five extra base hits and ranked second by himself in walks with eight.
• Belted a pair of home runs, his first iin a Mar. 1 rout of Illinois-Chicago and his second in a tough 3-2 win at No. 25 Oregon State on Mar. 25.
• Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in UCSB's 1-0 win at Sacramento State on Feb. 15, the team's first win of the season.
• Tripled in a Feb. 21 win over Abilene Christian.
• Posted a season-high three RBI in a Mar. 1 win over Illinois-Chicago.
• Seven of his eight walks came over the season's final seven games, including two in a Mar. 3 win over No. 1 UCLA.
2019
The redshirt Freshman had an outstanding first season appearing in 47 games as a 1B for the Gauchos…In 121 at-bats, Johnson had 27 hits, including 3 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 home runs…Slashed his way to averages of .223/.284/.355…Drove in 20 runs from the plate during the middle half of the season had a season-long 6 game hitting streak… Belted his first home run against Hartford in a day where he went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s Hit a walk-off grand slam in the 11th inning to cap a wild 14-12 victory over Stephen F. Austin on (April 6)…Hit his way to a 2 for 3 days in a win against UC Davis driving in a season-high 3 runs on (April 19)…Went 2 for 3 scoring a run in a battle with CSU Fullerton on (March 30)…In the Field playing mostly 1B, Johnson had the second most putouts the team with 245…Put up in 20 assists and helped turn 23 double plays, good for a .989 fielding percentage.Â

Earned four varsity letters at Leigh High School in San Jose, Calif. under head coach Kraig Constantino ... Played first base and pitched for the Longhorns ... Had a monster year as a senior, hitting .483 and clubbing 17 extra-base hits (four homers) in 28 games ... Was named the BVAL League MVP and earned First Team All-League, First Team All-Bay Area, and Second Team All-NorCal ...
