Cavazos appeared in 53 games and recorded 16 runs … As a sophomore, she finished the year with 10 walks and four doubles... Cavazos also had 17 hits, four sacrifice hits and a .177 batting average.
2014
As a freshman, Cavazos started and played in all 54 games at center field for the Gauchos…She hit .250 on the season and improved to .271 during conference play…She finished the season with 33 hits, 23 runs, 25 RBI, and 11 walks…She also had second on the team with 25 stolen bases…Her 15 RBI in Big West play was the second-high total among the Gauchos…She recorded a hit in eight of the first 11 games she played at the collegiate level, including two (single, home run) in a 6-0 win over Bakersfield (2/9/14).
High School
A graduate from Patriot High School, Stacy was an outfielder for four years under Coach DeWayne Mason…As a senior for the Warriors, she was named MVP of the River Valley League after hitting a school record .514 season batting average and finishing with a .624 on-base percentage…Her prolific individual play helped the Warriors win the league and reach the CIF semifinals in 2013… In her junior campaign, Stacy hit for .464 and had a .519 on-base percentage…She was a three-time all-league first teamer as she earned the accolades in the 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons.
