Redshirt season. Ran a personal best 6k time of 22:47.4 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational competing unattached.
Prep
Graduate of Northwood High School where she was part of four CIF Division 2 Southern Section qualifying teams in cross country, and was an individual CIF Division 2 Southern Section qualifier for track and field in the 3200m. She was also team captain for both cross country and track and field as a senior, and finished All-League for both cross country and track and field as a junior and senior. Coached by Louis Muniz, Randi Rossi, and George Varvas.

Parents are Ana Rivera O'Connell and Matthew O'Connell...majoring in sociology...career goal is to become a forensic psychologist...athletic goals are to improve/set personal bests every season and become an asset to the team...hobbies include hiking, the beach, and travelling...fun fact: lived in Amsterdam for seven years.
