UC SANTA BARBARA
2012-13: Placed fourth in three-meter dives with a score of 186.65 against rival Cal Poly on Nov. 3…Posted another fourth place finish in the one-meter competition (207.05) on Dec. 15 against Cal State Bakersfield…Finished 16th overall in the USC Diving Invitational with a total score of 186.65 in the three-meter competition. 

2011-12: Placed 12th in the three-meter dive (214.55), 10th in the one-meter dive (221.65) and fifth in the platform dive (167.50) at the MPSF Championships…Ranked first across all three diving events for the UCSB women’s dive team…Holds a personal record on the three-meter of 232.88 and a personal record in the one-meter of 236.91.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended John W. North High School where she was coached by Todd Spohn…Was a CIF South Section qualifier every year of her high school career…Also competed with the Mission Viejo Nadadores under coaches Todd Spohn, Janet Ely and Derek Starks…Competed in gymnastics with Gymnastics Pacifica and was a eight-time Junior Olympics competitor.

Caila Marie Baltas was born on Nov. 16, 1992 in San Bernardino, Calif.…Parents are John Baltas and Diedre Baggett…Has to older siblings: Brandie and John…Is majoring in art history with an emphasis in architecture…Enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, going to the river and spending times with friends and family…Favorite musician is Taylor Swift…Placing second at the 2011 AAU Nationals is her most memorable athletic achievement…In gymnastics, she was the California State Champion on the bars in 2004 and on the beam in 2005.
