Graduated from Carlsbad High School...Swam under Coach JBFeaster...Placed 3rd in the 200 free and 5th in the 100 fly atCIF...Earned Scholastic All American honors...Led the team to a 2ndplace finish at CIF three consecutive years...Also swam club atNorth Coast Aquatics under Coach Jeff Pease...Qualified in the 100and 200 fly in Junior Nationals...Qualified in the 100 and 200 flyfor Winter Nationals...JO record in the 100 fly.

Gretchen A. Horbol was born November 20, 1995...She began swimmingat age 8...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the teamcamaraderie...Lists her top pre-race pump up song as "You & Me(Flume remix)" by Disclosure...If she couldadd an event to each meet it would be the 150 fly...Qualifying forJunior Nationals in the 100 and 200 fly is the proudest achievementof her swimming career.
