Finished first in the 400 freestyle at UCLA dual meet on October 24th…Won both 50 free and 400 freestyle relay at Cal Poly dual meet on October 31^st… Won 100 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay at UCSD dual meet November 7^th…first place in 100 and 200 backstroke as well as the 200 freestyle relay at UNLV January 9^th… first place in 50 freestyle and 200 backstroke at UOP January 22^nd…Won the 400 freestyle relay at UC Davis on January 23^rd…Placed seventh at Texas Invite in the 200 freestyle relay, 16^th in the 100 backstroke, and eighth in the 400 freestyle relay… At MPSF Championships finished sixth in the 50 freestyle (23.17) and fourth in the 100 backstroke (55.30), and fourth in the 100 freestyle (50.54)… Awarded Dean’s Honors during winter quarter with a 3.8 GPA

2014-15: Placed 10th in the 50 freestyle (23.50), 8th in the 100 freestyle (51.36), and 8th in the 100 backstroke (55.96) at MPSF Championships.

2013-14: Won the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:36.45) against University of Nevada on Jan. 10

Julia Miluse Mikota was born February 4, 1995 in Waterford, Wisc.…Is majoring in Sociology and aspires to be a prosecuting attorney someday…Hobbies include playing piano, going to the beach, bike rides and spending time with family…Lists her top pre-race pump up song as "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore...Enjoys snacking on grapes before a meet...Began swimming at age 8...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the team unity...If she could add an event to each meet it would be the 100 IM...Becoming a National Qualifier is the proudest achievement of her swimming career.
