Placed 17^th in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle at MPSF Conference… voted Most Improved by the UCSB Swim team… Earned MPSF all academic… achieved highest GPA winter quarter for the women’s team.

2014-15:
Won the women's 50 freestyle (24.10) timed trial and the 100 freestyle (52.41) timed trial at MPSF Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Vista Murrieta High School...Swam under Coach Cathy Morse...Broke team records in both 200 yard relays and the 400 free relay...League champion in the 50 free...Scholar athlete...Also swam club with the Temecula Tritons Swim Club under Coach Nathan Wilcox...Qualified and swam at Sectionals in the 50 free...Holds 6 team records in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, and 400 free relay.

PERSONAL
Leanne Sun was born Nov. 10, 1996...Is currently undeclared at UCSB but aspires to someday work for Nike..Enjoys playing the ukelele and coming up with fun artsy stuff to do in her free time...Lists her top pre-race pump up song as "Back in Black" by ACDC...Enjoys snacking on Gatorade energy chews before a meet...Began swimming at age 8...Favorite aspect of college swimming is the competitiveness and the connections she's able to make...If she could add an event to each meet it would be a 25 freestyle...Being a part of the winning 4x50 relay team at CIF is the proudest achievement of her swimming career.
