Graduated from Glendora High School...swam under CoachJanet Pollard...Earned the Coaches' Award as a junior andsenior...Was Athlete of the Week during her senior year...Set aleague record in the 4x100 free relay...Won the 500 free atLeague...Placed in the finals at CIF in both her junior and senioryear seasons...Helped her team become League Champions her juniorand senior year, as well as CIF Champions in her senior year...Alsoswam for Civina Aquatics Association under Coach MikeGautreau...Qualified for Sectionals...Placed 3rd as a team atJunior Olympics.

Michelle "Mouse" Basham was born March 7, 1996...Is currentlyundeclared at UCSB with the hopes of someday working in businessand marketing for Disneyland...Enjoys going to the beach andcooking when she's not in the pool...Lists her top pre-race pump upsong as "Forever" by Chris Brown...Favorite power snacks includetrail mix, waffles, and Oreos...Began swimming at age 7...Favoriteaspect of college swimming is training and competing with theteam...If she could add an event to each meet it would be a 100backwards freestyle...Winning a team CIF Championship is theproudest achievement of her swimming career.
