Graduated from Oak Ridge High School...Swam under Coach Patrick Foster...Graduated in the top 3% of her class...Was Senior Class President...Voted Freshman Female Athlete of the Year in 2010 and 2011 for both swimming and cross country.

PERSONAL
Mikayla Mefford was born March 7, 1996...Majoring in Biology at UCSB and aspires to become a physician someday...In her free time she enjoys running, swimming, volunteering, and water polo...Lists her top pre-race pump up song as "Hey Ya" by Outkast...Enjoys snacking on peanut butter Power Bars before a meet...Began swimming at age 5....Favorite aspect of college swimming is the team atmosphere...If she could add an event to each meet it would be a 25 kick...Becoming team captain of her high school swim team is the proudest achivement of her swimming career.
