Graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School… swam under Coach Casey… Rookie of the Year Award in 2012… MVP 2013-2016… Varsity Swim team captain 2016… CIF Finals qualifier all four years… Swam for Rosebowl Aquatics club team under Coach Jeff Julian… Qualified for NCSA Junior Nationals… Received Dedication Award 2016.
PERSONAL
Born Rachel Forbes on July 3, 1998… Majoring in Applied Mathematics… outside of swimming, Rachel enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with friends and family… Lists her favorite pre-race pump up song as “The Promise” by When In Rome… Enjoys Pringles as her power snack… Her favorite aspect of college swimming is the close team environment… Began swimming at age 7… If she could add an event to each meet, it would be the 25 butterfly… Being able to swim on a Division 1 swim team is her proudest achievement in swimming.
