FIRST TEAM MPSF
Finished eleventh in the 500 freestyle (4:57.70), eighth in the 400 IM (4:26.61), and eleventh in the 1650 (17.21.10) at MPSF Conference in Frebruary...won the mile at UNLV dual meet
2014-15: Placed tenth in the 500 freestyle (4:58.60), eighth in the 400 IM (4:27.13), and eleventh in the 1650 Freestyle (17:16.15) at MPSF Championships...Won the 1650 Freestyle against Cal Poly...Won the 400 IM against UCSD...Posted a season-best time against Wyoming in the 1000 freestyle (10:22.50).
2013-2014: Placed twenty-third in the 500 free (5:03.40), thirteenth in the 400 IM (4:28.63), and eighth in the 200 back (2:03.09) at the MPSF Championships...First against University of Nevada in the 1650 free (10:31.09).
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Casa Grande High School where she swam for coach Polly Mora…Was a four-time MVP for the Casa Grande Gauchos and was team captain her senior year…Swam for Neptune swimming under coach Dan Greaves.

Reid Cavanaugh Whaley was born March 3, 1995 in Petaluma, Calif...Is majoring in Communication and aspires to become a nutritionist or have a career in public health...A unique fact about her is that she competitively showed horses until the age of 13...Enjoys going on bike rides, watching movies, and sleeping in her free time...Lists her top pre-race pump up song as "Latch" by Disclosure...Enjoys snacking on PB&J sandwiches before a meet...Began swimming at age 7...Favorite aspect of college swimming is being part of a family of elite athletes...If she could add an event to each meet it would be a backwards swimming race...Being recruited to UCSB is the proudest achievement of her swimming career.
