2011-12: Placed 15^th inthe 200-yard individual medley (2:05.10), ninth in the 400-yardindividual medley (4:22.81) and finished 11^th in the200-yard backstroke, posting a time of 2:03.55 during the prelimsswim of that event at the MPSF Championships…Ranked third onthe team in both the 200 backstroke and 400 individualmedley. 

2010-11: Took sixth in the 400 individualmedley (4:25.14) at the MPSF Championships…Also placed sixthin the 200 backstroke (2:04.73), after swimming a season-best timeof 2:03.99 in the prelims…Placed 15th in the 500 freestyle(5:03.61)…Swam a season-best time of 59.46 in the 100 backat the Arena Invitational. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended San Ramon Valley High School where she swam for coachHeather Johnston...Was a six-time All-American for theWolves...Earned All-American honors in the 200 free as a senior; inthe 200 free, 500 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay as ajunior; and in the 200 medley relay as a sophomore...Set schoolrecords in the 200 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400free relay...Helped San Ramon Valley to the North Coast Sectiontitle in 2009 and a second-place finish in 2010...In 2009, she tookfifth-place at sections in the 200 free and sixth in the 500free...Also swam for the Crow Canyon Sharks under coaches DanCottam and Ethan Hall...Was one of the original eight members ofthe team, which now is a team of approximately 80 swimmers...Was atwo-time Scholar All-American.

Taylor Elin Munk was born on April 6, 1992 in Walnut Creek,Calif....Parents are Dale and Kristin Munk...Has two sisters, Koriand Robbie...Has yet to declare a major at UCSB, but is interestedin pursuing a career in sports therapy or training...Enjoys skiing,going to the beach, visiting her family's cabin in Cold Springs andspending time with friends...Favorite movies are "Stepbrothers" and"The Notebook"...Says winning the North Coast Section team title in2009 is her most memorable athletic achievement...Names her PapaBob as her personal hero...Her favorite aspect of college swimmingis being a part of a family/team that is dedicated to achieving thesame goals.
