Tegan Setsuko Preston was born Aug. 13, 2001 to parents Sian and Jeremy Preston in Melbourne, Australia…Has a younger sister Tiana…Most memorable sports moment was making the A-final in the 200 Breast at Junior Nationals in her senior year…Favorite movies are 10 Things I Hate About You and Harry Potter and favorite TV shows are Friends, The Bachelor, Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, The Fosters, and The Office…Favorite novels are Harry Potter and Legend…Favorite music artists are Daniel Caesar, Jack Johnson, Lauv, Kehlani, Anderson Paak, Still Woozy, and Frank Ocean…Hobbies include going to the beach, hanging out with friends, shopping, and reading…Majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences…Also recruited by University of Pennsylvania, University of South Carolina, Rutgers, and Denver University.

HIGH SCHOOL
Swam all four years at La Costa Canyon High School under coach Patty Mackle…Earned all-CIF honors all four years and was selected as an all-American two years in a row…Set school and division record in the 100 Breast…Team won CIF for the first time ever in her senior year…Was the CIF Champion in the 100 Breast all four years, and in the 200 IM in her sophomore through senior years after taking second place in her freshman year.
