Prep
Alivia lived in China for 6 years and graduated from Dulwich College of Beijing, a British international highschool. She had a unique situation very different from her teammates because her highschool didn't have a track team. She invested a lot of her time into various other sports and occasionally attended track meets at other internaitonal schools nearby where she found her innate talent in triple jump. She also attended the 2014 Track and Field summer camp here at UCSB which gave her an incentive to want to pursue track the university. She jumped 37' 6'' her senior year of highschool with her dad as her coach.
Personal
Her parents are Bruce and Lisa Schlueter and she has an older sister and two triplet sisters who all go to different colleges on the East Coast. She is pursuing a major in Communications with a minor in Chinese as she already has a solid foundation in the language. While in China, her dad was primarily her coach and she competed in track and field tournaments against other local international schools and teams across Asia. Her most memorable athletic achievement was when her teammate made her take her place in Triple Jump for the first time and was able to claim 1st place in the international 3 day exhibition.
