2019 Cross Country
Competed in six meet for her second season as a Gaucho, consistently placing as the first scorer throughout the entire season. Took third at the UCSB Lagoon Meet with a 5k time of 18:14.1. Placed 15th at the 39th Annual UC Riverside Invitational in a 6k time of 20:55.2. Set a personal best for 6k at the Santa Clara University Bronco Invitational with a time of 20:43.4. Placed seventh at the Big West Conference Championships for her second All-Conference finish in 20:53.8. Concluded her season at the NCAA West Regional Championship where she was 37th in 20:43.8.
2018-2019 Track and Field
Competed in eight meets for her first season of track at UCSB. Won the mile at the Gaucho Round-Up with a time of 4:55.82. Took dual first place finishes in the 800m and 1500m at the Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet with respective times of 2:10.35 and 4:25.55. Set a season's best in the 800m with a 2:07.89 clocking at the 41st Annual Aztec Invitational. Took second in the 1500m at the Big West Challenge in a time of 4:25.66. A hamstring injury would sideline the sophomore through all of April, but Astrid would still come through at the Big West Conference Championships to take second in the 1500m and third in the 800m in respective times of 4:31.16 and 2:09.12, making two podium finishes in her first track season as a Gaucho.
2018 Cross Country
Competed in six meets for her first season as a Gaucho. Finished seventh overall at the Mark Covert Invitational in a time of 17:57.4 for 5k to lead the Gauchos for the first time. Went 1-2 with teammate Katie Camarena at the UCSB Lagoon Meet finishing right behind her in second in 17:07.8. Led the Gauchos again at the Stanford Invitational where she finished 13th in 21:22.4. Finished fifth at the Big West Conference Championships where she was awarded All-Conference honors in 21:46.5. Concluded her season at the NCAA West Regional Meet where she finished 43rd in a new 6k best of 20:52.8.
Prep/University of Texas at Arlington
Prior to UCSB, Astrid qualified for the Junior European Championships in the 800m in 2015. She was a Junior Swedish National Champion and Nordic Champion in the 800m and runner-up in the 1500m in 2018. She was the Sunbelt Indoor Conference Champion in the 800m and runner-up in the mile in 2017 while attending the University of Texas at Arlington as well as the Sunbelt Indoor Freshman of the Year that same year. Coached by Fredrik Oderborn in Sweden and John Sauerhage at University of Texas at Arlington.

Daughter of Teresa and Mikael Rosvall...Has one sister, Emilia...Majoring in Communications...goals are to improve her personal records and to be a contributor to the team...hobbies include hanging out with friends, boating, and adventuring...fun fact: has lived in Sweden her whole life.
