2018 Women's Track and Field
Biography
2016-2017
Competed in six competitions for her third season. Took second in the hammer throw at the Gaucho Round-Up. Also took a pair of fourth place finishes at the All-UC Meet and the Cal Poly Dual. Set a personal best at the Ben Brown Invitational with a throw of 162' 9". Finished the season with an 11th place finish in the hammer at the Big West Conference Championships.
2015-2016
Stepped into the throwing circle eight times for second season. Set a personal best at the Big West Challenge in the hammer throw with a mark of 159' 3". Took third at the Cal Poly Dual Meet with a throw of 152' 2".
2014-2015
Utley competed in six meets during her debut for the Gauchos in 2015. After placing third at the Round-Up, Utley took a fifth place finish in the hammer at the All-UC. She threw a season best at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic, finishing with a throw of 140' 1". She placed 12th at the Big West Challenge Cup in the event and helped the Gauchos take the top-five hammer spots at the Cal Poly Dual, placing fourth with a mark of 139'11.
Prep
Competed for the Arcadia Apaches in track and soccer. Earned Team MVP all four years. Holds the frosh/soph discus record. High school coach was Chris Schultz. A a senior, Utley captured the Pacific League title in the discus.
