2022: Recorded a personal best in the weight throw with an attempt of 16.66m(54’8”) at the UW Invite(Jan. 28-29) to finish third… With a mark of 52.80m(173’3”), recorded a collegiate best in hammer throw at the UCSB Invite(Mar. 11) and finished in second… Also took second in shot put(12.62m(41’5”)) and discus(48.27m(158’4”)) at the UCSB Invite… Took third in hammer throw at the Aztec Invite(Mar. 24-26) with a mark of 51.85m(170’1”)... Vince O’Boyle Classic(Apr. 1-2) runner-up in shot put(12.79m(41’11.5”) and discus(47.54m(156’0”)) and took third in hammer throw(49.48m(162’4”))... Challenge Cup(Apr. 8) in discus with a mark of 47.79m(156’9”) and third in shot put(13.08m(42’11”)) and discus(51.27m(168’2”))... Finish third in discus and seventh in hammer throw at the Big West Championships(May 13-14) with attempts of 47.06m(154’5”) and 50.68m(166’3”)
2018-2019 T&F: Competed in 13 meets for her first season as a Gaucho. Finished first at the Gaucho Round-Up in the discus in a personal best throw of 45.22m (148' 4"). Also took second in the shot put with a personal best of 12.23m (40' 1.5"). Bested both of those marks at the Cal Poly/UC Riverside Tri Meet with respective marks of 12.41m (40' 8.75") in the shot put and a first place effort of 43.27m (141' 11") in the discus. Surpassed her shot put best again at the 41st Annual Aztec Invitational with a throw of 12.64m (41' 5.75"), and bested that mark just a week later at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational with a throw of 12.777m (41' 10.75"). Finished second at the Cal Poly Dual in both the discus and the hammer, setting a personal best in the latter with a mark of 43.18m (141' 8"). Closed out her season at the Big West Conference Championships where she was ninth in the shot put and fourth in the discus, scoring at the conference meet for the first time in another personal best of 48.30m (158' 5"). Her performance in the discus puts her at seventh for that event on the UCSB All-Time List.

High School
Attended Canyon (Canyon County) High School where she was honored as a Valedictorian for her 2018 graduating class. In 2017, she was to take first place in the CIF Division 2 Section Finals of the discus on her way to placing top 5 in the CIF Masters Meet, qualifying all the way to the State Finals where she finished 11th overall in the same event. She also qualified for the State Meet in 2018 where she made it to the preliminary rounds. In addition to her accomplishment in the ring, she was also runner-up twice with her team in the 2016 and 2017 CIF Basketball Finals. Coached by Kent Richardson, Paul Broneer, John Quam, and Thaddeus Kline.

Parents are Fernando and Silvia Sanchez...Majoring in Biology...Career goals are to be an orthopedic surgeon, nurse, or biomedical researcher...Athletic goals are to constantly get better and be able to set a school record in a respective event...Hobbies include hiking, reading, spending time with family, bonfires, and travelling.
