Biography

2016-2017

Competed in five meets her junior year. Threw a season's best at the Big West Challenge Cup at 115' 0" for 10th place. Took 6th at the Cal Poly Dual Meet. 

2015-2016

Competed in six meets her sophomore season. Set a new personal best in the javelin at the Gaucho Round-Up, throwing 116' 2". Also took 7th at the Cal Poly Dual meet in the javelin. 

2014-2015

 
Tarr opened her freshman season with a fourth place javelin showing at the Round-Up. She followed that up with a fifth place showing in the event at the All-UC. She took an important third in the javelin at the Big West Double Dual. She placed fourth for the Gauchos in the javelin at the Cal Poly Dual. 

Prep
Tarr was a four sport standout while at Marysville High School. Tarr lettered in volleyball, basketball, golf and track and field while racking up numerous accolades and all-league honors. She was named Marysville High School Most Outstanding Athlete for her achievements. Tarr was named to the Golden Empire League Academic All-League team all four years at MHS. She is the MHS school record holder in the shot put at 37'7.75. She will also compete in the javelin for the Gauchos. 

Personal 
Daughter of Marcy and Ken Tarr...Has one sibling, Chase...Major is Environmental Studies...Aspires to work policy and legislation in the Sacramento Capitol and continuing in a masters program at Cal State University, Sacramento... Hobbies include surfing, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking...Fun fact: has a brother on the team who also throws javelin (Chase Tarr).
