2018-2019 Track and Field 

Competed in ten meets for her first season in uniform. Jumped 3.23m (10' 7") to start things off at the Beach Opener. Also hit 3.27m (18' 8.75") at the 41st Annual Aztec Open. Set a personal best at the Big West Challenge where she finished seventh overall with a height of 3.50m (11' 5.75"). Set another personal best a week later at the SBCC Easter Open with a jump of 3.65m (11' 11.75"), getting her onto the UCSB All-Time List for the pole vault at sixth all-time. 

2017-2018 Track and Field 

Redshirt season.  

Prep

Graduate of Garces Memorial High School. Started pole vaulting during her junior year and would blossom in the event as a senior by winning the SWYL Section Championships with a personal best of 3.40m (11' 2"). She would also take 3rd at the CIF South Area Championships to qualify for the CIF Central Section Masters Meet. Coached by Konstantin Zagustin, Jesse Pena, and Susan Walker. 

Personal

Parents are Joellyn Ma and Jonathan Sales...has two sisters Ariana and Carissa...Majoring in Zoology...Career Goal is to attend veterinarian school to either become a zookeeper or a veterinarian...Athletic Goals are to be in the top five for the UCSB All-Time List for pole vault...Hobbies include line dancing, cooking and baking, scuba diving, and listening to music...Fun fact: did gymnastics for 13 years.
