Biography
Prep
Graduated from Otay Ranch High School where she was the team captain for both cross country and track and field her senior year. A league champion in cross country as a senior, she was voted MVP for cross country for her school and was named Cross Country Runner of the Year for her league. She also qualified for the CIF San Diego Section Preliminaries in track for Division 1 as a junior in her first year of competing. Coached by Julian Valdez.

Parent is Justine Valadez...Currently majoring in pre-biology and planning to go into zoology...Career goals are to attend veterinary school and work with conserving endangered species...Athletic goals are to improve her personal bests during her time at UCSB...Hobbies include watching the sunset and reading.
