2018-2019 Track and Field 

Competed in 11 meets for her second season of track and field. Placed first in both the 400m and the 4x400m relay at the Gaucho Round-Up. Hit a season's best time of 25.85 for 200m at the Beach Opener. Also hit a season's best mark of 57.18 for 400m at the Jim Bush Legends Invitational. Matched that time at the Cal Poly Dual where she finished third in the 400m. Finished off her season at the Big West Conference Championships where she was 13th in the 400m prelims and helped the 4x400m relay squad to a fifth place finish in 3:46.01. 

2017-2018 Track and Field 

Competed in ten meets for her first season as a Gaucho. Clocked a season's best in the 200m at the 40th Annual Aztec Invitational with a time of 25.67. Set a season's best in the 400m a week later at the Jim Bush Invitational with a time of 57.67. Was part of the 4x400m relay team that took second at the Big West Challenge Cup with a time of 3:43.55, their fastest relay time of the season. Also took part in the 4x400m relay at the Cal Poly Dual where they finished first in a time of 3:52.79. Closed out the season at the Big West Championships where the 4x400m relay team finished third in 3:44.13, their first podium finish in the relay since 2012. 

Prep

Attended Poway High School where she qualified for the CIF State Meet in the 4x400m relay with her team her senior year. During that same year, she would end up breaking the school record at Poway in the individual 400m with a time of 56.53. In addition, she was a 2 time league champion in both the 400m and 4x400m relay, and distinguished with 2nd Team All-CIF honors. Richard was also named Young Titan of the Year for varsity soccer and track and field while at Poway.  Coached by Bruce Jackson and Felton Turnage. 

Personal

Parents are Barbara and Jon Richard...has one brother named Luke...Majoring in Biology...Career goal is to become either a veterinarian or a nutritionist...Athletic goals are to stay healthy and break all her personal records...Favorite moment was running the 4x400m relay at the CIF State Meet...Hobbies include playing with her dogs Roxy and Mattie, competitive horse show jumping, and cooking...Fun fact: played competitive roller and ice hockey on an all-boys team for 5 years.
